First of all let's all wish Makoto Kino a Happy Birthday today. Her current age varies in each version of Sailor Moon but she will always be 14 year old Sailor Jupiter to me. Recently I began taking Japanese classes at Hunter College in order to keep my studying going for the JLPT. For our midterm we were asked to do a presentation on any subject related to Japan. One of the suggested categories was anime which two other students and I volunteered for.

After meeting up with my fellow group members we quickly decided to do our presentation a Mahou Shoujo Anime focusing on Sailor Moon. We prepared a formal presentation on anime in general and the magical genre entirely in Japanese and ended it with a little skit inspired from many actual battle sequences throughout Sailor Moon. Meanwhile Usagi and Hotaru are enjoying a lovely day at the park. Can they save the day?
