Guest article by Cordelia LeFay

My co-worker and I ventured to the Toys R Us in Minami-Hikone for some kids’ games for our students. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed some Card Captor dresses and I figured I would investigate. Among the Card Captor and Pretty Cure dresses, I found Sailor Luna! It was on sale for 3000 Yen (about $28). I was tempted to buy one for a friend’s daughter, but I didn’t.

During Cherry Blossom season in Japan, a popular place to go is the river near the Treasury in Osaka. Among the cherry tree path, there were all sorts of food and game vendors. When I spotted our favorite lunar warrior on this game, I knew I had to snap a picture! The helper thought I wanted a picture of her too, so I snapped a picture of her!

Finally, I don’t have a picture of it, but as I made my way to work last week, I spotted a five year old girl carrying a black stuffed cat in the front of her coat. I didn’t get a good look, but I could swear that the cat was Luna!

From Jay: Here's another very interesting sighting (in this case, a Western one) found by forum member dooky.
