We've got another fun update on the live action series (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon)  for you today. 

First off, to your left is the guy who's going to be playing your favourite easily brainwashed and constantly captured or incapacitated hero, Tuxedo Mask.

His name is Shibui Jyoji and he was born on March 15th, 1983. (He's younger than me, which I find creepy.) His official homepage is here.

More information on Mr. Jyoji: 

He was born in Nagano prefecture. 

His "sizes" are: T183 / B85 / W67 / H90 /S 27.5 (Update 9/21/03: T= tall B= bust W= waist H= hips and S= shoe -- Thanks Kudou_Usagi)

His special skills are: "Racquet Sports" and Darts. (The darts skill must make him pretty good at throwing a rose. A reason why he was chosen, perhaps?)

His hobbies are: "Music appreciation" and... "dry goods." I think he means clothing. I think.

Must avoid further references to bad Sera Myu engrish.

In the manga, Mamoru was only in high school by the time the senshi had appeared; the anime bumped him up to college. His being born in 1983 means he's college-aged. So is this some possible proof they will be following the anime storyline after all?

By the way, according to the official "press release" on the page with the various Sailor Moon actress pictures which we translated for you last week, Luna is to be a talking stuffed cat. I guess that answers that question.
