Live Action Sailor Moon update (Tenth episode mini synopsis + news updates)

Not only does it look ridiculous but it hurts like hell to boot!

Many thanks again to Serecindra for the pictures.

Update 12/07 - Serecindra has the act 10 storyboards up so be sure to check them out. Many thanks to Bill Heineman for picture hosting. Be sure to visit his page!

Due to a very busy finals schedule, Claudia was unable to do a complete synopsis this week. She still took the time out of her exam studying and paper writing to prepare a brief synopsis for everyone:

Usagi has a fight with Ikuko-mama and runs away, going to stay with Rei, who used to love the story of Kaguya-hime. Beryl expresses an interest in Zoisite's power to send out people's hearts. Zoisite makes finishes his requiem for the Princess, which turns into a youma which destroys everything related to Princesses (except notably Usagi. Plot hole? Or does the concept of "Princess" have to be conscious?) The senshi fight the youma, which takes down all except Sailormoon. She uses her Moon Stick to destroy the youma, and revive everyone. Queen Beryl appears and makes a speech about Sailormoon looking different now, and mentions the Moon Kingdom before disappearing. Luna tells them that their Princess is the Princess of the Moon, and that they are the four senshi of the Moon. Usagi cries later because the information is such a shock, and she thinks she might not really be her mother's daughter, Luna reassures her and she goes back home. Minako returns from England, and the requiem starts playing. As she is getting into her car, a Dark Kingdom possessed truck driver drives his struck straight for her. End of Episode

Next ep we may see Venus. At the very least Minako and Usagi meet. Usagi says she's a fan. Scene of Minako murmuring, '*This* girl is Sailormoon?'

A huge thanks to Claudia for the write up! This should hopefully clear up any misconceptions people have about this episode.

We would still like to get a "full synopsis" this week, if possible, and since Claudia may be busy against next week (and is leaving the week after) we're looking for someone to take on her enormous task. If you have a working knowledge of the Japanese language, are fluent in English, and have a bit of time on your hands each weekend, take a look at this page.

I wanted to put up this week's Venus' diary entry with this update but it seems hers never went up. Maybe the cold she spoke of a while back hit with a vengeance? Or maybe she's a lot busier now that it looks like she'll have a bigger role in the series.

Regardless I do have a new, interesting bit of news for those of you living in Japan. Many thanks to Rintarou for this info:

Sing us a song, piano man! (Kitagawa insider reference.)

So Motoki's got his turtle, Zoisite's got his piano; all we need is Artemis obsessing over a dishwasher and the circle of randomness will be complete.

CBC is going to air a PGSM radio program of sorts. The DJ is supposed to be Sawai Miyuu.
Air times are the following:  Chuubu area (CBC) 12/21 pm 6:30-7:00
Kansai area (MBS) 1/4 pm 2:30-3:00
Kantou area (TBS) 1/5 am 1:00-1:30

Those of you can listen, make sure to record it!

Next, there's been an update to Heavy Cat Multimedia's Gemini Project page:

We're waiting for some additional information. (You're kidding! Really?) This information will determine the likelihood of an approval in the near future. If you're really really insightful, you just might be able to guess what this information is. ^^

So for those of you who were wondering, their project is still well alive and kicking. I'll leave you to guess the info on your own. (Rather cruel of me, I know.)

Lastly, a general site notice. The sailormoon.ws that currently mirrors the entirety of the site (you know, that third mirror that no one uses) is going to go offline within the next two days. Its going to instead be connected to another host which will be a new image/archives server. You won't notice a thing because I'm keeping everything that's currently on the Genvid server online, but the archives page in the future is going to connect to pages on sailormoon.ws and all future articles will be archived to there. We're using up a lot of bandwidth so this has become necessary.
