Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Act 25

Hina drags a suitcase into Mamoru's bedroom. Kneeling, she bends down to open it but finds it locked. "Ah, the key!" she says. She turns to the dresser behind her and opens the top drawer, searching for the key to the suitcase. Finding nothing, she opens the bottom drawer; in it lay Usagi's handkerchief and the chocolate Sailor Moon gave to Tuxedo Kamen on Valentine's Day. Hina picks up the handkerchief and stares at it, dismayed. "What’s this? " she asks out loud.

In her room, Usagi sits in her room, her elbows on her desk, her face in her hands. "Chiba Mamoru is...Tuxedo Kamen," she murmurs. She thinks back to Mamoru's words. "I also... " says Mamoru. "'I also'..." Usagi says again. "Maybe..." Suddenly, she frowns and stands up. "Oh, this is bad!" she cries. "My thoughts are full of him again!" Throwing herself on her bed, she buries her face in her comforter. But...she thinks, turning her head to the side, if he really...

Mamoru sits on his couch with his head thrown back in defeat, one hand on his stomach. His cell phone rings. He answers it. "Motoki? "

"Mamoru," says Motoki's voice. "About the farewell party today… "

" Ah. Is it already time? "

"It’s not that," Motoki explains. "Hina-chan came and said that she wanted to hold your engagement party. She seems to be brooding over something."

At the crown, Hina sits alone in a karaoke room in front of a banner that reads "Mamoru and Hina-chan's Going Away Party." The walls are decorated with tinsel and what looks suspiciously like turtle paraphernalia, and the tables are littered with left-over decorations.

Mamoru rushes through the Crown doors. "Motok—" he starts. Finding no one at the counter, he looks around. When he spots Motoki, his expression changes from frantic worry to disgust. "Motoki? " he repeats.

Motoki is dressed in a spandex mint green turtle suit and a turtle shaped hat. "What? " he asks, oblivious.

"What are you doing? "

"Me?" Motoki grins and haphazardly squeezes a turtle squeak toy. "This is my trick for the farewell party. "

Mamoru closes his eyes and sighs.

Motoki's smile fades. "More importantly…" he says, walking over to Mamoru as fast as his spandex legs will carry him, "Are the two of you fighting? "

Mamoru is stricken by the question. "No? " he answers with an uncertain shake of his head.

Motoki gives him a stern look. "Hina-chan said that she found a girl's handkerchief in your house," he reports.

Mamoru draws in a breath and looks away.

"Well, honestly, I think this whole situation is okay to an extent," Motoki prattles on, "but…Actually, I’ve really been thinking about it, and—" He puts his hands on Mamoru's shoulders and says seriously, "Hina-chan’s father is the benefactor who took you in and cared for you; Hina-chan believes in you completely. I know those are the reasons you have a weak spot for them. "

Mamoru tries to brush off the speech. "Let go of me," he says.

Ignoring him, Motoki continues, "But if you marry her just because she's the daughter of your benefactor, even though you don’t really love her—that, I have to question. "

As he is talking, Hina somberly walks out of the Karaoke room, just in time to catch Motoki's last sentence. Her eyes catch Mamoru's. Mamoru winces. "Motoki!" he shouts. Motoki lets go of Mamoru's shoulders and turns around. Hina looks up at him for a moment, her eyes full of anger and sadness. Motoki's jaw drops open in a silent expression of complete and utter agony. Hina runs out of the Crown.

"Hina! " Mamoru cries, running after her.

Motoki finds his voice and lets out a sobbing scream. "AAGGHH! Kamikichi! Punch me! " He hits himself in the face with the turtle squeak toy.

Meanwhile, Mamoru runs through the streets searching for his fiancé. "Hina!" he calls out. "Hina! "

Ignoring his calls, Hina continues running.
