Images of a full moon flash across the screen, followed quickly by a shot of the Earth. A beautiful castle surrounded by gardens and hills fades into view. Though the sky is a bright blue, the Moon is visible among the clouds. Luna's voice narrates: "A long, long time ago, the Earth was under one country, and there was a kingdom on the Moon." The camera closes up on the Moon, and the image of the Earth palace fades into shots of the Moon Kingdom, where the Earth is visibly floating in the distance. A crystal dome encases the palace and its surroundings.

Luna continues: "Both countries were beautiful—brimming with light and greenery." Day turns to night outside of the Earth palace. Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity walk out onto the palace balcony together. "In that era," explains Luna, "the Prince of the Earth and the Princess of the Moon fell in love. " They look at each other and smile. Serenity leans her head against Endymion's shoulder. He puts his arm around her, and they look up at the Moon together.

Venus takes a knee before Usagi/The Princess. "Princess Serenity," she says. "At last you have awakened."

Usagi/The Princess looks at her, puzzled. "Huh?" she asks.

Artemis also bows before her. "It was necessary for you to fight in order for you to awaken as Senshi," he explains. "Forgive me for having been so strict."

"And for using your name to pose as a double," Venus adds. "Starting today, I will return to being a regular Senshi."

"Venus... " Usagi/The Princess breathes.

Jupiter and Mars give each other awkward looks. "Yes..." says Jupiter. "Since you're the Princess and all. We have to act properly."

"You're right," Mars agrees. "I feel like I certainly would have spoken more formally to you in the past. "

They both kneel alongside Venus. "Princess... " Jupiter says hesitantly.

Bewildered, Usagi/The Princess protests, "W-wait! Stop it please! Mako-chan, Rei-chan." She runs up to them, pouting. "Even though you call me Princess, I don't feel it in me at all."

Venus winces at the news. "Haven't you remembered?" she asks.

"Not a thing," Usagi/The Princess says with a sheepish shake of her head.

"What! But you’ve clearly awakened!" Artemis exclaims.

His words cause them all to remember how the Illusionary Silver Crystal shone and then faded back into Usagi/The Princess' body. 

"Even if you say so... " Usagi/The Princess trails off.

Venus turns to her fellow Senshi. "Mars, Jupiter, how about you?" she asks.

"It's not clear," answers Jupiter, "but somehow... "

"Me too," Mars agrees.

Venus closes her eyes in disappointment. 

"Luna," says Artemis, "it's your turn from now on. Teach her thoroughly to act as the Princess—so that her memories will come back."

"Me?" she squeaks.

"It's your strong point," he tells her. "Your memories are also starting to become clearer, right? Up until now, I’ve been slowing them down…so I'm sorry." He lowers his head in apology.

"So that was it..." Luna says, nodding.

Venus stands up from her position on the floor. "Well—" she says to the Senshi. "Make an effort, then."* She bows to Usagi/The Princess and begins to leave the building.

"Wait!" Mars cries, running after her. Venus stops. "There's no need to be a decoy anymore," Mars points out. "How do you feel about working with us?"

"I have my own ways," Venus says firmly. "As the leader. "

"You told me I was the leader!" says Mars, her tone indignant. Behind her, Jupiter stands up, looking lost.

"That was just until I returned [to the position]," Venus replies. With a frosty demeanor, she takes a step towards Mars. "You're the substitute."

Mars steps closer to her threateningly. 

Jupiter rushes to her side. "Hey..." she says. "How long has it been since you two have been so hostile to each other?

"Not that long," Mars replies shortly.

Venus changes the subject. "The problem now is Mercury, right? We must bring her back soon. "

"I intend to give you all a gift," Artemis tells them. "Use it. Luna—be firm."

"I will." Luna nods.

As Mars and Jupiter watch Venus and Artemis go, Usagi/The Princess looks down at her dress. "Hey…" she says. "How am I supposed to change clothes?" Her dress suddenly dissolves in a cloud of light, and her civilian clothes return. "Ah, I'm back! "
