Queen Metellia's pink glow shines brighter than ever. "Take a look," says Beryl. "Even with just a fragment of the Illusionary Silver Crystal, Queen Metellia has been filled with energy."

Jadeite, standing behind her, bows. "Yes! But that the princess' tear is a fragment of the Illusionary Silver Crystal—what does that mean? "

"The Illusionary Silver Crystal..." Beryl says, turning to him, "may be inside the princess' body. Until now, I have been deceived, but that will never happen again. Jadeite, you're the only one I can trust. I give you the order."

He bows again. "I understand," he says. "Leave it to me. " He leaves.

Deep in the caves, Kunzite comes across Nephrite, who is still sitting alone in a corner after having been banished by Beryl. Kunzite sneers, "How is it there?"**

"If you weren't here," Nephrite  snarls, "it would be excellent. "

"I'll tell you something interesting," says Kunzite. "The real princess--is Sailor Moon. "

Nephrite bolts to his feet. "What?! "

Pleased with himself, Kunzite smiles arrogantly and walks past Nephrite. "So that means you’ve been after the fake one," he says over his shoulder. "The Princess has the Illusionary Silver Crystal. It may be worth it a little to go after her. But then again," he quips. "I don’t think the princess is foolish enough to let someone like you get his hands on the Illusionary Silver Crystal."

"You bastard!!!" Nephrite shouts.

Kunzite gives him a short laugh and walks off.

Nephrite's face twists with rage. "Shit!" he growls. "Why must I take this ridicule?!" He slams a fist against the cave walls. "The Illusionary Silver Crystal…I’ll get it!"

Kunzite continues to smile and congratulate himself. "It never gets boring, ridiculing him," he sneers. The notes of Zoisite's song drift to his ears, and his smile fades. "Zoisite again," Kunzite mutters. Suddenly, he grips his head in pain. "He is trying to stir hidden memories."

His eyes widen when he the dead faces of the Shitenno flash through his mind: Zoisite, Jadeite, and Nephrite all lay wounded and lifeless underneath the rubble of a destroyed palace. Kunzite alone remains alive. He looks around him, his eyes full of sorrow and horror, and falls to his knees, using his sword for balance. Rearing his head back, he lets out a blood-curdling scream.

Kunzite snaps himself out of his reverie. Throwing a hateful glare in Zoisite's direction, he stalks off.

In the piano room, the song Zoisite is playing slows to a soothing melody. "The Master nearly lost his life," he says to himself. "As I thought…It is dangerous for him to be involved with the Princess."

Mamoru lies in a hospital bed, going over the events of the other day in his head.

The light from the Mysterious Silver Crystal glows around him, reviving him. "Thank goodness..." says the Princess Serenity/Usagi, smiling through her tears.

"That was what I’ve been searching for—" he says out loud, "—the Mysterious Silver Crystal and the Princess. On top of that…Usagi is…" He trails off.

The sound of Zoisite teleporting himself into the room catches Mamoru's attention. Zoisite walks towards him. "Yes," he says. "The Princess and Master—you have been bound together since your past life. "

"Zoisite," says Mamoru.

"But, your bond to the princess is cursed," Zoisite continues. "If you break the link now, perhaps a second tragedy will not…" He stops short when he hears a knock on the door. After pausing, he sweeps himself back to the Dark Kingdom with his cape.

Mamoru frowns at the empty space. Turning his attention to the door, he calls out, "Yes?"

The door opens, revealing Hina, who is holding a bouquet of flowers. She walks in with a somber expression.

"Hina," Mamoru remarks.

Looking up at him, she gives him a small smile.
