Minako was already a fighter before the team was formed, and called her self Sailor V. She idolizes the police. Her and Tuxedo Kamen are old enemies. She fights to protect as Sailor Venus. I would think that Minako might be the only one of the five that still has her memories of their past existence.

Sailor V seems to want to prevent what happened in the past from reoccurring again...but it seems that even she can't change destiny....Minako is a famous singing idol and is adored by Usagi who is her biggest fan...She has also now proclaimed herself as the princess...(which goes along with the manga) and has joined up with the Senshi.

Minako has also befriended Usagi.....The only minus and its a big one about Minako is her attitude towards the other girls....she is cool and stand offish as Sailor Venus....which only turns off certain Senshi like say Sailor Mars....One of the reasons may be that Minako is ill with what appears to be a terminal illness if what is insinuated in the preview...not to mention that Artemis all but forbid her not to help Mars....it might mean that henshining into Sailor Venus might either tax her system or it might make the illness spread faster....we will have to wait and see about that....(what are they thinking could this be the event that triggers Usagi's princess transformation? Hmm that would be a completely different take on the storyline.)

It is clear that she is a favorite by the henshin CGI of Sailor Venus....It was a bit to much on the drama queen side if you ask me...sorry nothing against Venus I have always liked her character before its just that I don't think that her henshin should rival Sailor Moon's. ^^;

Venus has all but revealed to us that she isn't the actual princess and it appears that her illness is progressing very quickly...She has singled out Mars as the one Senshi that she is going to awaken...and made her leader...

Venus is now just the leader and can be hopefully more relaxed now that the job of being decoy princess in off her shoulders...Minako has decided to live her life as long as she has left and to focus on the mission which is to stop the Dark Kingdom...she does however realize that she will need help and tells Rei her secret.

Minako has chosen to die to fulfill her duty from the past life...Rei has disowned her because of it...Mako tried suicide because she to listened to Minako's speech....Ami well she is confused...Usagi is in the dark...she kicked out Artemis...she isn't acting like a leader....but then to her its her destiny to die for the cause...even if telling the princess might get her healed or there is an operation that could help....

Her pigheaded way of thinking is her worst flaw
