We meet our main charater which is non other then Rei Hino aka Sailor Mars or for you american dub fans Raye Hino.  After all the torment and hardships Rei endured during  all the fights Rei thought she would finally get a break from being a senshi and a guardian of Usagi but that just isn't the case.  Rei could even feel something coming long before the changes began occuring causing conflict.

Just recenty at her private school they got a new principal, called Inu Yasha, who right away sent Rei back to first grade.  She doesn't understand why he was such a jerk to her even before they had been formaly introduced.

Upon returning home Rei also met a new friend, Vash the Stampede whom was clueless why he was at her house and not eating donuts.  This bothered Rei very much since he reminded her of Usagi so much she wanted to throw him out of the house.  But it looks like he'll be staying at the temple with her.  Not only that but it seems like Inu Yasha is now stalking her. 

Usagi and the rest of the gang (Minako, Ami, Chibi-Usa, and Makoto) enter the story.  Not only does Ami start freaking out because "a principal should not have dog ears" but Makoto and him seem to get in more fights then Usagi and Rei or Rei and Inu Yasha/Vash. 

Other strange occurances happen.  When the  "outer" senshi return from a well deserved vacation they happen upon a battle already in progress.  They where ready in a matter of seconds but the creature didn't seem to want to battle.  What's weirder is that once introduced to our heroine, Rei, he instantly clings onto her and won't let go.  This freaks Rei out because she doesn't want the creature, like she doesn't want Vash living with her but nobody seems to listen to her about these things.

While this is going on the evil that is trying to take over the world is planning new stratagies and trying to get new toys.

Chibi-Usa as well is having a hard time with the dreams she's been plaged with for quite a while, mostly dealing with evil and cows of some sort.  It bothers the young princess a whole lot and now she can't eat beef without fear of it attacking her because of the dreams.

All that is happening and Rei can sense something coming..
but what is it?
