Of the six Sailor Senshi actresses, five remain active. Hama Chisaki (浜千咲 - Sailor Mercury) became unemployed when her teen fashion magazine job with 「melon」 went away with its cancellation. Not long afterward, her official website announced she would be taking a break for both health reasons and to prepare for college entrance exams. That was in February 2006. This, combined with a lack of updates to her website, leads most people well familiar with the Idol industry to believe she has retired. By now, Izumi Rika, her real name, would be finishing her first year of college.
